Who We Are

Positive Entrepreneurs Network, created in 2010 by entrepreneurs with the support of Poseco, is the Belgian network of social entrepreneurs. Positive Entrepreneurs are empowering people who base their core business on human, social and ecological values.

What We Do

Connecting social entrepreneurs with eachother and with key stakeholders helping to create economic opportunities. We also inspire entrepreneurs, universities and political authorities for this innovative entrepreneurship.

Why We Do It

To strengthen social entrepreneurs themselves and to develop the movement of social entrepreneurship in Belgium. More social entrepreneurs means more social impact to create a better world.

AEI stimulates entrepreneurship in all its forms and throughout the company’s life. It plays the role of guide for different organization: young people and teachers, support professionals (operators) and companies. It also provides tools which enable them to participate actively in innovation and in sustainable development.

« Sociale InnovatieFabriek », a Flemish organization that promotes, encourages and facilitates social innovation and social entrepreneurship in Flanders and Brussels. "Sociale Innovatie Fabriek" focuses on major social challenges such as poverty, climate change, loneliness and urbanization.

Plan C is the Flemish transition network for sustainable materials management. Individuals, businesses, consumers, government agencies, academic institutions and social organizations are working together on an economy and society that deals with materials in a sustainable way.

The Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM) is a faculty of the Université libre de Bruxelles. It provides training and research services in the heart of Europe. The quality of its education is based on a demanding system that combines theory and practice. Faculty members ensure the provision of a high-quality education to the 3,700 students and other professionals, close to the business world and to international institutions. Solvay Brussels School was the first host of the "Inspiration Days".

Nexense Solvay Business Social Club is a committee of 15 members created in 2013 to support and develop the social and environmental awareness of the SBS-EM. Nexense was founded after participating in the Inspiration Days Solvay edition 2013! Promote the emergence of societal vocations among students, Strengthen the connexion between business schools and the working world and change the content of economics courses related to the current challenges are the main objectives of their initiative.

Solvay Entrepreneurs is the Entrepreneurship Center of the ULB. Entirely focused on entrepreneurs and their changing needs, the primary goal is to contribute to the development of their potential and achieve their vision. To do this, a combination of 4 complementary activities is made: awareness, training, coaching and networking.

Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is one of the Flemish universities of Brussels. Although its name which is the exact equivalent of the French Université Libre de Bruxelles, Vrije Universiteit Brussel is, since 1970, completely independent of the ULB. Nowadays, it offers its quality training to 9,000 students and employs 3,500 people in Brussels.

The University of Ghent (UGent), with its 11 faculties are composed of 117 faculty departments. These departements offer more than 230 high-quality courses in every one of their scientific disciplines, each inspired by innovative research. HEC Management School is the Management School of the University of Liège. It is firmly rooted and active in the economic development of this region. Thus it forms more than 3000 creative and responsible leaders to build the future of businesses and organizations in an intercultural world. The HEC-ULg will host the 6th edition of the "Inspiration Days" this year. The event takes place February 28, 2015.

The Academy of Social Entrepreneurs @ HEC-ULg is a platform that was founded in October 2013. The Academy of Social Entrepreneurs organizes workshops, support activities and a networking for social entrepreneurs.

HELMo (Haute Ecole Libre Mosane) was born in 2008 from the merger of the University College HEMES and iSELL. HELMo offers 36 different trainings in economic, paramedical, educational, social and technical for short cycle (bachelor) and the long type (masters).

Brussels Beer Project aims to co-create atypical beers inspired by both Belgian savoir-faire & new influences. Thanks to the public, the beer are now in >120 bars/shops in Brussels and are exported in 9 countries. The new challenge of this company is the creation of a micro-brewery in the heart of Brussels which enables to unleash the creativity and involve the community in everything
